What to expect.

St. Mary's is located within the historic gates of Tuxedo Park, but serves the entire community and all are welcome! Please don't be intimidated by the gates -- just tell the gatehouse you're going to St. Mary's, proceed thru the gates and we're immediately on the right. Plenty of free parking available.

We are also accessible by public transportation via the Port Jervis Metro North/NJ Transit line or the Short Line Bus from NYC's Port Authority (train and bus stops are just outside the gates, just look for the blinking yellow light)

Kids are welcome at every service and encouraged to participate in the liturgy.

Sunday School starts at 9:45 am (during the school year), where children ages 5-12 hear the scriptures and participate in a related lesson/activity before joining their parents at Communion. Childcare for younger ones is also available throughout the year during the 10am Sunday service. Older children are encouraged to participate in the service as acolytes or lectors. Please let us know if you’d like to help with these ministries.

All staff and volunteers are required to undergo training to assure the safety of children.

The Holy Eucharist (or Mass) is our central form of worship. We begin by hearing the eternal word of God opened unto us, and we pray for our loved ones and the world. We then receive the sacrament of Christ's Body and Blood, which inspires us to go out into the world and do His work.

The 10 am Sunday service in the Church (use the main stairs or elevator) includes music (it's usually 45 minutes long). We also have a 10am service on Wednesdays at the St. Mark’s Altar inside the main Church (it’s usually 30 minutes long).

Hospitality is at the heart of Christian practice and we at St. Mary's enjoy celebrating with our community.

After the 10 am Sunday service, join us as we gather for food and fellowship in Bentley Hall (adjacent to the church). Coffee hour provides a great opportunity to meet the pastor and people of St. Mary's in an informal setting.

We also host special events throughout the year such as Summer Movie Nights on the great lawn, Hymn Sing on the Lake, and various cocktail parties and dinners. We are also active in many forms of outreach on a local, national and international level, positively impacting the lives of many thousands of people each year.

No matter your faith (including those who profess no faith in particular), you are most welcome to join us in having fun and doing good in the world!
