From the Rector

Dear Friends,

Pete and I have returned from a wonderful trip to the UK that mixed vacation time with meetings and ceremonies relating to the Order of St. John. In London, temperatures reached the high 90s with little in the way of "air-con" relief. We seem to have brought the heat back with us, just in time for the big celebration of our nation's semiquincentennial.

I hope that you will make every effort to join us this Sunday at 10am in our air-conditioned nave as we mark this milestone with prayers and special music. Our organist and choir master, Sheldon Eldridge, will be joined by Dr. David Kopp, as well as the full Schola, some of whom will provide us with instrumental music, as well as their wonderful voices. Our friend, John Burkhalter, will not be able to join us on Sunday, but he was kind enough to curate some of the period musical selections that we will enjoy.

Outreach - Summer Camp

Dear Friends,

It has become a tradition at St Mary's to help local children attend the summer day camp run by the Town of Tuxedo. We provide financial assistance to families who are not able to pay the full cost of the camp. This year, we seek to sponsor 20 children at a total cost of about $15,000.

St Mary's would be grateful for donations of whatever size to help us fund this year's campers. Checks should be made out to St Mary's Outreach, with memo 'Camp Sponsorship', or you can donate online.

Thank you for your support which will give five weeks of fun to 20 local children!
